Last news from AFCEA Bucuresti Chapter
To the "Sfantul Gheorghe" hall of the National Military Circle took place the workshop "SECURITY AND DEFENCE THROUGH R&T "organized by METRA & AFCEA Bucuresti Chapter with the occasion of the international symposium of the METRA. In the opening speech Col. PhD. Eng. Ștefan CANTARAGIU thanked for the presence of the foreign guests and the interest for the AFCEA section.
In the first part of the workshop very interesting presentations gave Professor Piet VAN GENDEREN from Delft University, AFCEA member, and Felix TOTIR and professor Andre Quinquis from ENSIETA which presented the results of applying the MUSIC-2D algorithm for modeling the radar targets.
In the second part of the workshop very interesting presentations gave professor Alexandru ȘERBĂNESCU and Mr. Alexandru TAKACS regarding the modeling of MEMS devices.
To the end of the workshop Col. PhD. Eng. Ștefan CANTARAGIU thanked for the participation and Mr. Aurelian Valentin AIFTIMIEI, secretary AFCEA Bucuresti Chapter, presented the next important events of the year 2005 for Bucuresti Chapter community, the military exhibition EXPOMIL / ICOMIL 2005 ( 20-23 October 2005) and the symposium of Military Technical Academy (3-4 November 2005).
